3D New Poser Thread


Nikkie - Vue d'Sprit is a terrain generator, the advanatage is the it will accept Poser pz3 files, so you can create a scene and the import Poser objects into it, the only problem is that you must pose the figures in Poser because you can't change them in Vue

:D Great stuff everyone! Here's something I used the DAZ Noggins Poser crow/raven model for (I HAD to play with this one! ;) ) and the idea here was to use it to create something not 3D-ish but rather like a painting effect. The background was made of a scanned crow feather. The crow/raven models are a bit "off" in some proportions, and I had to move the eyes forward, change the tail and feather shapes but it was fun to experiment with. ;)

Sky diving must be so fun for these guys.

I haven't used Poser much yet, but what is correct about putting the copyright symbol on an image rendered like this? Is it ok?

Maya please jump right in! Poser is not too serious but it is a lot of fun and I can see another Raven avatar in the future,

Thanks Erik yes i do enjoy Poser a lot as well as Vue, but after all is said and done everything comes into Photoshop for the final production.
 
Hi Maya. Unbelievable to know this is Poser-based. Quite impressive.

Yes, that copyright is ok. Usually, pleople mention that they started from the DAZ' crow, but in fact that's just a mesh and can be seen as, for exapmle, a plugin in Photoshop. Here people also mention they used Glitterato from Flaming Pear, or KPT Smoothie or so, but the essence is what you did with it.

Most merchants love it because it is free publicity for them.

I didn't even know they had a crow...

Thanks, too, Erik. That is helpful regarding what we can do with the Poser and DAZ meshes. I like the idea of using some Poser objects as models for all sorts of art styles besides the 3d effects. :D I can see use for planning paintings in traditional canvas/paint which is really fun.

BTW i didn't use Vue but Terragen for the landscape and then i imported the pic as background into Poser and added the Poser stuff. ;) :righton:

Choose from the file menu import- background picture and tada..

Under no circumstances I want to have someone credit my Visa monthly to become membre of their club.
 
Erik it's just that the free period ends at Februari 22 and after that you'll have to pay to get acces to the PC but if you dont want to you're account on PC will automatically end on that date.. ;)
