hey thnx all... it's only but begun with this little bot... I am now starting to go in and add local detail... I want this little guy to have everything I can giove em eh.... need to craft wires coming from all moving parts areas, as well some screws, nuts and bolts, different part thickness, maybe some expresions... you know... more stuff

Yea Guass, it takes time to get the texture thing down... but hey... practice practice practice eh

Ok, I was fooling around with that little bot and here's what I came up with... now this is the result of a hoky model at best... not as much detail as should have been and some things could have been done differently, but... just goes to show you what a good decent render will do eh... hmmm, taking a look at this pic now that it is posted, the jpeg atifacting takes away from the result somee, because the one on my puter looks quite a bit better in certain areas... better reflections and coloring... ah well... damn... this took all night to color and set up [upset] [confused] [sleepy]

Okay, this time it's not Kiwi's fault - it's Hawkprey's. He posted some awesome concept art and I took a fancy to the character called "Fart Blossom".

Haven't exactly been working on this long, but I think it shows why I haven't really done any female characters. Talk about suck! I just might get the gumption to redo her with splines. Far from finished, so no mapping. Not wanting to have to go through mapping for unfinished piece, I just slapped some Simbiont on her.

Has anyone who has Wings 3D v0.98.10e having problems with invisible polygons? [confused]

Look at my example; when I rotate this simple model in the direction of the arrow, then my polygon 'A' just disappears.
It happened to me a few times with different models.

look if there are an invert normals option could be that its has the inside out =)

if there are just select the polly and select inverse.

and maby try adding a dubble sided texture or switch so that it shows boath sides of the object.

he he im just throwing stuff upp in the air heare i havent tryed moddeling whit wings so dont know if there are any textureing in it but if it would hawe bean 3ds max ore softimage xsi and probably maya and lw i would bet on one of those =)

With a name like "Fart Blossom" we know that SHE has to be a SHE Stroker... but those mammary glands leave something to be desired (or undesired, as the case may be)... [:I

I have no doubt that you'll give her a decent "boob job" in the end!
