3D New Poser Thread

Looks great Nikkie - sticking with the halloween theme I see :bustagut: :bustagut:

Here is something a little different - background in Terragen - ships and planes in Poser and all put together in Photoshop.

I thought I would post this just in case any of you Poser users might be interested in this kind of thing. You can download the whole package, with Props, Poses and the works from the free stuff section on Renderotica.com. She comes with a bunch of Mat Poses, and action Poses

Be careful though cause it's 21 megs. :shocked:

OMG Rick!!!!!!!!! :shocked: :shocked:

all the ladies on the board will get an inferiority complex because of this ............woman ? ! :D [confused] :bustagut: :bustagut:

looks great !! :} :}

BTW do they also have attractive guys available ....... [sly] [slick]

:righton: :D Nice scenes, Rick! Here's my first attempt at transforming one of Poser5's people. He's got some attitude now! :bustagut: I modified one of my moon photos to use for a background image.
---Maya :D

Great poser work Rick! :righton: Your enjoyment of this proggie is evident in your continued improvement! ;)

[confused] [shhh] Whatever those "thingies" are that you speak of, Nikkie, I sure as heck wouldn't want them! [:I :P

;) Hey, keep up the great efforts Nikkie! I commend your desire to learn and spread your horizons! :)

8[ Oh my, Maya! That's an awesome creation! :}

:D Thanks too, Wendy! Rick's creative use of Poser encouraged me to try it out with Poser5, which I just got, and am learning to use. This was made with one of the regular basic people to start with, and then morphed (no full moon needed :bustagut: ) into what is now a guy with an attitude (and a mowhawk haha). The lighting came from using firelight in the foreground and several red and purple-blue lights around him. The background is a moon photo I took. :D

:} :} Maya and Nikkie - Poser inductees......

Good first tries, too.. [stuned] :righton: ..... As rick warned, it is definitely addictive %} .

Maya, with your avatar in mind, I give you this..... Enjoy.

And rick, here's a first render of my shipyard.... Not the complete view coz the file is really huge [confused] I had to cut out (a few) ships and select a different camera angle ....

Wendy & Vee thanks :D :D :D

What a beautiful pic Vee i love spacecrafts.. :} :}

This is another simple attempt though i am pretty proud of this one... ;\

:D :righton: Thanks Vee! Yes, I enjoy scifi and fantasy creations both --- thanks for the link, looks like lots of inspiring creativity there!

A fun "used spaceship" sales lot, Vee! :righton: :} I really like the holographic floating sign letters too. Goes with it just right! B7

B7 I love your new one, Nikkie! :} :righton:
---Maya :D

That's a good image, nikkie.

The time that goes into lighting, camera position, and other Poser frills is an undertaking in itself. Not to mention the postwork you did, too.

One tip.... adjust your main camera focus to a higher setting bet. 80 and 120. Gives a better perspective.

I don't know what version you got but you can change the figures color by simply changing the light color. Try it on the dolphin.

Maya, you can probably download a fairy and you could probably do a new 3d fairy avatar.

If you've seen rick's old avatar of 8 months back, that was a good one :bustagut: . Dv8 Tip of the hat to rick.

Way to go to our new inducties :righton: :righton:

Vee ; a used spacecraft lot - :bustagut: :bustagut: :bustagut: great concept - I wish I would of thought of it - make sure to send me a link to the full image when it's completed.

I took a hint from Gare over on another thread and downloaded the free copy of TrueSpace 3.2, just trying to figure out the controls and menus [confused] [confused] [confused] Having a hard time finding basic tutes for getting started.

Must have go our posts crossed there Vee; not sure just what avitar you meant - he is a couple I used a while back

Good tips on camera focus and lights, Vee :righton:! I just stumbled upon tinkering with the lighting myself and it really is worth the time using for what it can change is the whole atmosphere of an image! ;)

Good idea on the avatar image too! I think I'll work on it now that I have these tools. :D I haven't seen Rick's old avatar...I'll have to find that one. Oops! Posting cross! Hey, those are all great Rick!
---Maya

There he is :bustagut: :bustagut: .... Sapiens for Micheal ( I think that's what you used) ......

Thanks rick. I had a lot of fun doing that. Tho the file is 375MB and still growing. Half an hour to open and 45 minutes to render [confused] :(| . And I've got a few more ships to put in.... All in all 30+ :bustagut: as well as 10+ small craft :bustagut: .............. I NEED MORE RAM.

Now where is that Daisy LE fairy of mine..... Rick, still got your's. Next subject- FAIRY.....
