Favorite Summer Pictures

thanks Joy, sometimes you just get lucky and get a "great" shot. I think the oppportunity to get just about any angle or shot is there, for anyone. Even for someone who's not a photographer, you can come out with a nice shot at the very least.

I didn't take any pics of anything else on the trip, but the falls, so I'll put up another of the American Falls & Bridal Veil (on the right), from the Candian side.

And next I went for some perspective, that I'm not real sure if it works for everyone else or not. The falls so rough up top, but calm a few hundred feet below, where the boat is.

I can now see those images which I and others posted through image tags and off site hosting! I still can't see any of the others images which we attached through the previous board though -- just getting a clip icon for those. No smilies show. All avatars show. Well at least I can see a few images.....but they now use scroll bars......

Beautiful waterfall shots Ric -- must have been awesome to be there!

Happy belated B-day to Nitro too!!!!! Leos are Grrrrrrrrrrreat!!! :)

Sorry I can't see anything except new postings. No avatars, on smilies, no archive photos on any threads. The new format looks nice but got some bugs that are probably ruining Mark's weekend.

Me neither. I really feel for theKeeper. Yuck, what a hassle!

Edit:

Moments after this post the forum came up roses!!! Hooray!

Yeap Mark I think you've got it! Seeing everything now! Thanks for all your hard work - all the pictures and icons seem to be there! Great Job! Take a bow - I know how complicated PHP can make your life.

8} 8} 8} Totally Cooooooooooooooooooooooooooolllll!!!!!! It's all working now!!! :surprised: ;)
Thanx Mark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8}

Another snap partly from my back yard (frog from another picture - I used apply image but no other tricks).

Dedicated to Nitro for his birthday!

Nice one, Joy.

Leo's Rock. thus the Av.

I need to snap more pics. Or come across more from the past.

Very many apologies to Ricib - Belated behappy Beirthday 2 U 2. I see Leo still sticking his tongue out at me - please forgive my bad.

Wow - nice ricib! That peaks one especially nice, I didn't know they had those type of erosion made mountains in Colorado, I have always admired them in Arizona.

Arizona and Colorado are the ONLY places in the U.S. that I feel totally comfy in, and at peace. Though Colorado is WAY more spcial to me.

I've got tons of pics of Colorado, but for another time.

Joy: Thank...Ribid... you? 8}
Now all I need is for a princess to come by and turn me into a prince ;\

Is it sill officially summer? I worked on this today, "traditional" art, as a favor to my Aunt who "needed something extra" in the corner fo one of her rooms.

It represents family members in each thing, especially the birdhouse which has sweet peas growing on it, to represent her Grandson, and initials to represent passed on family members. The sunflowers are meaningful too.

ricib - That is so wonderful, I'll bet your aunt is showing in off with pride! Do you advertise your mural art? I love the bright colors and the meaning of each design!

haha, awww shucks folks. I've NEVER done mural art before. I just had the paint colors there, and photo's of sunflowers, most everything came about while I was painting. Almost overwhelming at times, because I knew I couldn't put everything I wanted in there. Not because I didn't want to, but it's not MY room. (I'm eyeing my office at the moment, with its already primed wall, waiting for anything).

I've got another day at least doing this mural. If you look closely, you'll see pencil outlines for a white picket fence. One or two pics will follow when it's complete.

:} :} :} :surprised: Very charming mural artwork Ric! I'm sure she loves it very much, and it's very joyful with the bright colors -- absolutely full of sunshine! :righton:

Great scenic photos too! And that's also a neat frog pic, Joy! 8D

Here's a few I took yesterday -- it was hazy and some fog but I got these anyway. ;)
