I like the colours and the general design of that 1 Bubolan but I think what will improve it as a Logo will be having the text a different color so it stands out from the background and readable

I agree about the text color. The name gets totally lost. Another technique would be to change the color when it crosses into its own color. So, for instance, where the blue text crosses into the blue box, change the text color to green, and so on.

I like the outer glow, but I think it is too big and detracts from the logo itself; it would have more impact if it were more subtle.

Finally, you need to work on the text warping for the reflection. The y's don't line up, and the B of Bonny is crooked. You might also lower the opacity on the reflection a bit more and/or add a slight gaussian blur.

I know, I'm picky, but a designer has got to be a perfectionist if he wants to be a professional. Hope this helps.

I certainly like this better. As for the one where you are using hoogle's logo without his permission.

I understand. It's OK. We just have to be careful since there is a lot of illegitimate use of others' work going around. And I don't mean yours since it was obvious and of course, stated by you. But it is still using the work without his knowledge. That said, I do like the way they go together.

wanted to play around with your idea of the target for the "o" in Bonny.... but Hoogle's logo is pretty sweet!!

I like this yoda. A little 3D to the letters to blend with the objects would make it pop. An observation: the extension of the "Y" to hold the headphones is poking outside of the outline of the letter down below the junction of the y and the o.
