Please help I'm having problems w/ my tables

Hey I fixed it...just took going over it with a fine tooth come. Just an issue with colspan being incorrect and it was pushing things around. I know I should work things out on paper, then work locally, then upload a working site. But I just couldn't resist jumping in head first. Thanks for...

Please help I'm having problems w/ my tables

I'm sure this isn't too big a problem, but I'm just begining to learn web design and I'm having problems with my table cells aligning. I'm sure it's just a matter of a colspan or rowspan not being correct or perhaps photoshop or dreamweaver generated a code that wasn't quite right. Any help...

    split channel command

If i'm reading your question right...when you click on the different channels it is showing you a greyscale image which represents the percentage of whatever color is being used.

Illustrator Please give honest opinions, you won't hurt my feelings!

mflintjer- Hey I think that looks great. I'm not familiar with the new 3d features of ill. since I'm still using 10. The only weekness of the image are the polygons that show up in the gradients. It looks like a low poly count 3D render. Keep going with the image...add some water, a table...

    Illustrator Self portrait in AI

Here's my attempt in Illustrator. I know that using a photo as a template doesn't exactly call for a standing ovation, but I've learned some valuable techniques in the process. I'm still working on skin tones...sampling from PS insn't coming up with great combinations. I really like the link...

Would you pay a small price to learn?

Also Mark I scanned another response and it sparked this idea. I onced worked a a designer for a e-learning group. They would professionally video business/gov./pharma. lectures and meetings and stream them along with a very functional interface powered by cold fusion...I think (digiscript.com)...

Would you pay a small price to learn?

Hey Mark- I read the first page on this topic, but wow...there's a ton of responses. What first interested me in your site was your own depth of knowledge and willingness to share. The forum has definetly followed your example. So to me it seems imperitive for the majority of info to remain...

    How would I make this?

101 jinx 101...is just jinx o.k. Anyway, I can give you pointers reguarding the first one. I won't do a step by step simply because of time, but it seems fairly simple. 1st don't get caught up in looking at it as a 3d image. If you can remember to look at it as a 2 dimensional design it's...

    Making Shapes

Silvrwolf- Also complex shapes can be made using the pen tool in the path palette then convert in to a work path, then choose make selection...etc.etc. This is especially helpful if you simply want to trace something like a leaf. I know I didn't explain too well, but I'm tired.:( However...

    Making Shapes

Hey Dom- I hope I read your sample and question right. To start off with. One of my fav. ways to get symetry is to copy the layer>edit>transform>then flip horizontal or vertical, then move to position either using info box to trace movement (found under WINDOW) or grids. I tried my hand at...

    Converting a photograph to a painting/drawing

That's real cool...and what a tool for watercolorists (if that's a word) who are working on complex imagery and need help getting a more impressionist lose feel. I know I definetly would have used it back when I painted...maybe one day I'll pick it up again. -Meehoo

    Please help with font

Jaklen I can't fully answer your question. The font looks kinda art deco I think...you should be able to find it or something very similar in a font website. Just do a search using "fonts". Then depending on your platform...PC go to My Computer/Controll Panel/Fonts and add it there or...
