Wolf Walk: work in progress

Well based on what I've seen, you seem to be better at this than me, so fire away. I'll wait right here until it's done.

Theres no real contrasting depth of field to the image, it is a nice composition clare (your best so far).
Things like the mountains need to be slightly darker and out of focus maybe, the foreground needs a lift.
Great stuff though.

Just found something in Photoshop that I like to do for myself and started doing it. When you love what you're doing, it's easy to get over the learning curves, of which there are many!

I agree the mountains could be more blurred since the distant village is. There isn't much depth on the street as it's a pretty short street. I'm happy with the rest. Thanks for your comments.

Overall idea looks good, but for me you can tell that the wolves dont belong in that image due to the lighting. You need to mess around with the adjustment layers of the wolves. Maybe darken them a bit would make them look more "in place"

Thanks Vetoed (there's an odd name; doesn't sound too positive, lol). That is sure a possibility and the more I look at it, the more it seems the shadows need to be increased. I'll be ready to work on it soon. It's been a over a month (seems longer) since I made it and some things have to sit awhile so I can see them more objectively.

Alright, revised again!

Pepperbel, darkened the shadow and brightened the ledge and a bit of wall on the wolf at the window.
Vetoed, messed with my exposure adjustments and increased shadows on the wolves.
Paul, I blurred the mountains some more.

I appreciate very much all the critiques you guys give me. The idea of being here is to continuously improve, so I'm trying. Thanks!

Hey thanks Steve. Texting brings us a whole new spelling book! At least I know the basics of his message now. TYVM.

In case you didn't see my comment in other post, I like your avatar's holiday getup and the glittery snow!
