I work with an exceptional programmer, he lives to code, but right now he's busy on a project of mine - if it can wait a couple of months, I could pass the job on to him?

The company I work for is trying to find a programmer for some projects that we currently have and future projects. As of right now we have 10 projects in the works and we are short on back end developers. Ok I'll let him know. He currently works for a home automation company in Latvia, but he's going full time freelance in Feb.

He's working on a big project with me right now, so I don't want him splitting his time on another project right now
