Whaddya think: 'Shopped or Not?

Yes i think it is, i live literally 30 minutes from that location and i cannot remember a sky like that here:mrgreen:

4922150-3x2-940x627.jpgchopped if he used his zoom to get that picture the lighting is too bright of color on the underside of the birds to match the sky above imo

I agree and also think it's a composite. That's why I posted it.

IMO, another inconsistency is that both the sky and the birds are simultaneously in focus. It's conceivable for that to happen, but I don't think it's how this image was made. One can get a large depth of field if you are using a fairly short FL lens, say, 50 mm (equivalent) or shorter, and stopped way down. However, from the size of the birds in the image, that implies that the subjects were within 10-15 feet or so of the camera, and I don't think that encounter happened that close to the ground.

Given the prize it won, the organization that awarded it, and that it seems to be pretty obvious (at least to us) that this is likely a composite, I did a quick search to see if it attracted any attention. Apparently, it did not. Weird.

I also think it is a composite.
Somehow the birds look too relaxed for such a near miss. They should look absolutely frightened and paralysed with terror in this last second before the crash. Their beaks should be open screaming cries of dismay.

And I just though of something else, those Talons would be wide open (spread apart)

That is blatant fake..no question. The question is, how did it get published as a for real photo..sheeesh.

159710.jpg is this faked?

It certainly looks fake but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't,I've see similar structures that were real.

If that award winning photo is derived from a single shot, it is highly plausible that the photographer tweaked the color lums to brighten the animals. This can be accomplished by using the B&W adjust tool. Just a thought.

Actually no it is not, it is a building works screen used in france, it hides the construction work going on behind it.

You sure? My teacher in my 2D Design class says it's real. I will ask him today what the architect's name is. Because he has other buildings with weird curves like this.

Never go to the Library without your shotgun.

Frank Gehry is the architect's name. He has quite a few crazy buildings. My teacher and I Googled his name and came up with a bunch of buildings.
