well I think it is safe to assume this is going in circles without knowing the actual light source everyone will have there view on it and it does not matter anyway as the project is not being finished or any more work put into it.

Thanks for all the replies guys, i think. I never realised how much debate a unfinished project of mine would create lol.
At the end of the day it was a surreal image manipulation so according to artistic license i can put the shadow where i like can't i?
