turning a photo of someone into a "Bratz" doll

ok, have posted my 'effort' in a new thread under 'Bratz Doll' .. the pic on the forum is darker than in my PS7 and Irfanview, guess I'll catch up on how to fix that in the future ... a couple of things which might help others with the tute ... I didn't use 'paths', don't know how (makes a note to look for paths tutes) ... but I did get around 'it' with lots of layers and masks and brush work ... and the white brush on the irises didn't look good due to eye colour) so I dumped that ... ah, Photoshop, soo many choices ... had big prob finding a pic of female looking directly at camera, had to mod the one I used (she had her head on one side and was messing with her hair .... this tute was sooooo much fun ... thanks 'the Keeper' .. now when are you posting the next tute .. lol ...

i never used paths before this tute and used them on here and now i'm addicted. they are sweet. i did a lot of tutes on paths while doing the bratz tute. i still need more practice, but don't we always?
