Just Joined and Have To Say ...

Hello everyone,

I just joined this forum, with the assistance from The Keeper (thank you, again, for helping me, Mark!)

I must say something to y'all. I just LOVE everyone's sense of humor. My colleagues wonder what I'm up to when they hear me giggling. A couple of times, a few colleagues looked like prairie dogs for they kept popping up out of their cellblock to see who is actually having fun. :bustagut:

I have learned much from just reading the forums and I would like to thank all of you for your wonderful input, advice, suggestions, tips and especially the tricks. There are few times I have felt amateurish compared to all of you. ;\

If you have read this far ... thank you for not running away screaming that a loon has escaped into the forum. [innocent]

Jen

Welcome Jen. Glad you decided to join this "loonie" (is that spelled right?) group. Most of us have a great sense of humor. There ARE a few (no names will be mentioned :\ ) that are a little stiff around the collar, but hey, you find that anywhere. ~sigh~ :P Hang in there. It's also a great place to learn something.

PS Is that spelled right. :D

Welcome aboard Jen :righton:
and I just love your avitar! ha ha ha it is soooooo cute he he he

Welcome to the PS Looney Bin zoso4jen! :D And enjoy your new home! :righton:

[innocent] Well...you gotta be a little "looney" around here to love PS the way that we do! ;)

:bustagut: Your colleagues are just 'jealous', Jen 'cause laughter is life's best medicine and heals all that ails! And, it makes learning so much more fun!

[shhh] No "starch" in my laundry room, Lee! In fact, ironing is "out of my realm" and all my clothes are wrinkled! :P

Hi zoso4jen and welcome to the board :righton:

I can honestly say after being on this board for more than a year that it's hard to find a better place. There's always someone to help you, there are always new challenges and there's always something interesting to read.

Have fun Jen! [excited]

Btw, cute avatar! :)

"Looney Bin" Is THAT how you spell looney? Showoff! :P

Now I know. I was wasn't going to mention your cloths because I didn't know you well enough.......but now that your brought it up, girl.

:bustagut: Lee!

Actually, our Canadian dollar coin is called a "loonie" (because of the 'loon' depicted on it) so I suppose that your spelling is correct too! ;) I just spell it "looney" as in the cartoon series "Looney Tunes"! Dddddddddddat's all folks...

[doh] And don't be poking fun of my wrinkled clothes now! :P

Welcome to all who I missed in the last little while....have not been able to log on for a bit...... [shhh] [saywhat] [shhh] [saywhat]

Thank you for the welcome

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the welcome :) and I would like to apologize for the extended silence from me. :(

I had to drive to Seattle from San Francisco on Thursday, June 12th after work. This trip was supposed to be half vacation with my son and husband, and half moving my son's stuff back to SF. Only ... this trip has been a living hell from day one.

I could go into it - but I'm afraid that it would be a novel. However, if y'all are interested in hearing about it, I'm more than happy to narrate the "adventure". I'll warn ya - it won't be a short post. :\

Bottom line is: I don't think I should take vacations anymore. [oops]

Again, thanks for the welcome to this Loonie/looney/loon ... I believe that laughter is THE best medicine - if I become serious ... it gets scary ;)

I hope some day I can contribute to this wonderful group with some knowledge ... I just havta make sure the one brain cell is awake first.

Jen

Thanks

Thanks, SFM

That Avitar was originally a card I sent to my son when he was living in Seattle. The inside read: Feeling Frazzled? I just thought it was the most hilarious thing.
