Tip: what helps you work easier and faster without block

Music is Love and Love is Music if you know what I mean - from a song called 'I Believe in Music'

As a professional musician (retired) I am not ever very far from a source of music, it keeps a persons soul alive, and generates energies that would not exist without it.

Music is the Universal Language

Ali, well you started a mess..

Vee you said: he prefers the likes of Frank, Bing, Andy, Matt, etc. oh my god I guess you’re in need of the new Photoshop filter from Ammaro’s company its called l” change boss taste in music.

As for me: music, bad mood (yes), and some other things ;) but hey did you meant how to get muses? Well that’s a different story..

And right now I’m listening to Lee Ritenour : Alive in L.A (and its my 15th CD since 5 hours a go)

I thought that the original question was "what helps you work easier and faster without block". It's now all about music :bustagut:

I don't need music to work without block.
It helps for me if I look around me, browse through art galleries on the internet or read books or articles. I seldom have block. My ideas always seem to fall out of the blue sky when I need them and it surprises me too sometimes.

To work easier I need a good computer, desk, mouse, chair, pleasant room, a drink, something to eat etc.
Music is just a nice addition, but if my my eyes, arms, stomach or back hurt, then no music is going to make it easier for me. I rather prefer life's music; the birds outside, the sound of my kids in the house, the dog, the people outside talking, someone laughing, etc...

I like music in the car but above all during the evening, in the couch, nice glass of wine, low light...
At such a moment a Bocelli sounds 10 times better than when you're trying to get that Photoshop thing done ;)

If I had a block.......... I take a break........... listen to music or walk with chunky my daughter, play a game with her, go for a swim........ basicaly anything but sit at the computer so that when I return I am refreshed and often find that things flow again.............. unlike Gaus I don't have time to sit and drink wine :bustagut: :bustagut: :bustagut: :P

I'm getting old, what..... I AM old :bustagut: ...because I've never heard of any of them [confused]

I not sure, hehehe :bustagut: [confused] :D , But she sure does have some wierd music videos! One is where she's standing in a totally white room and her face keeps on morphing into a lion and back to her own face! It's crazy. Oops, I forgot to put down one of the best titles:
Boards Of Canada

I find the more ambient and mind bending the music, the more I can get into working. Makes me focus too. Radiohead and Bjork are incredible. Aphex Twin, Blues, Jazz, and certainly classical. I also listen to a lot of Asian lute music if I'm working on something related. :bustagut: :bustagut: B7
Keep on the path
