3D the Wings3D thread....

  • Thread starter Thread starter IBox
  • Start date Start date

well Chester... there are mistakes all over the cooler green guy here... poles, lack of local area loop structures in certain places, tri's where there could be quads... on and on it goes...

which... just goes to show... you don't know that much about modeling and/or 3d, now do you? ;)

come on man, just admit that you are not as wise to 3D as you would like all of us to think... be honest with us, and yourself... you can do it... come on... atta boy... :D

and yea... the green fishy is funky enough to be improved upon someday, and saved for some future project... :D

more on the subject of 3D soon.... :D

sorry to disappoint you bud, but i never commented on the last fish, only on the first one.

i thought that I made that clear when i wrote "good model". i didnt write "models". sorry, my mistake.

i wont change my opinion about the first model. it just looks good, period. ok, improvements are always possible, but im not that picky as you think. (and I repeat; the ?blue rope? comment was based on a personal preference, ok)

i seriously thought that you wanted my opinion, but you used it to test me... i feel sorry for you man.

ive made suggestions in Kiwis beach scene thread and this is what he had to say:

- "Fair comments"

- "Many of your crits had good validity, but the way you put them across sometimes lacks some finesse shall we say"

so WTF do you feel the need to drag this on??????

i never said that im talented with 3D. i only made suggestions based on my experiences with 2d, 3d and other things, nothing else.

if thats the same like me saying "i know everything about 3D", im sorry, but then you really need to worry about yourself bud? I mean, you even took the time to set up this "test"...

i agree, maybe my approach wasnt the best and if you want to correct me on that, go ahead? seems fair enough, but please, after 50 years im getting too old for your childish games. i don?t know how old this kiwi dude is, but seems to me that hes old and wise enough to be able to defend himself without the help of an immature person like you

thats all i had to say to close this rather useless discussion that started in the other thread. if you want to go on with your games, go ahead but you have to play them without me kiddo, i do that out of respect for this board. time to move on with other subjects

ah Chester... tell you what... you demonstrate a show of respect towards Wendy and Stu... via apologizing to them for your brash and unkindly mannerisms... and I will forget that this whole unfortunate incident occured, ok?

The last thing you want to do is come on any board, and rip a mod(s) in public... and when you do that, well... ya sort of deserve what ya get eh...

Yes, your comments were valid, but... as several others have pointed out, it was the manner in which you chose to deliver those comments, and other commentry, which was in my/our minds, somewhat offensive....

Listen, just read your reply's... full of justifications... defending your mannerisms... yup, all of us are wrong, while you are totaly in the right... not... like just think about it dude... and use this to grow...

Oh, and for the record, the blue fish has more loop structure lacking in critical areas than does the green one ...

but hey... don't feel too badly bout missing that as well... after all, I did... I mean I made the durn things right? haha too funny indeed...

Listen, I gotta go, so last words are.... relax, and be kindly in your posts... :D

:righton: You rock gidgit!

:D

I see n-gons, and also portraits of people in these Fish....

That second one must be great in some cartoon series...

hey thnx Rick... :righton:

just another doodle... presently breaking down the methods employed for these dodles to better figure out loop structures... ah man... one step forward, two steps back... [confused] :bustagut: :bustagut: ... but I can feel it starting to sink in... :D
