Sick Selection

Okay this is driven me to the point of insanity, there seems to be no guide and have searched millions of pages to sort out my problem. So I have to make a selection but to make it I use multiple selection tools until I get the final selection that I want. Thing is that when I press clear it deletes the unwanted part in different ways depending on which selection tool I used on said part.

I attached an image as an example although it was all selected as a whole when I press delete you can see the difference because I used different selection tools to select the whole...

So I need someone to please make me sane again by explaining me how I get to delete my image evenly no matter which selection tool I used

No that's now what I meant, I explained myself very bad so here it goes

In the first image I use Lasso Tool to select something.

Then in the second image for "x" reason I complement my selection with the Quick Selection Tool having one whole selection.

Finally in the last image I'm happy with my selection so I delete it. Problem is that it doesn't delete it evenly because I used different selection tools to select it look at the difference in the borders! I mean WTF selections are deceitful, what can I do to stop this from happening??

Each selection tool is different in the way that it selects. The lasso tool is pretty specific. It will draw a line, make a kind of slice, where you draw it. If the resolution is low, it may look jagged as it follows pixel contours; this would not be apparent on a larger image. The quick select tool can have the tolerance adjusted somewhat like the wand, except using hardness and spacing. Regardless, with this tool, you are selecting colors and tones and it is important to zoom in around the edges to clean them up before you call your selection complete. Color range is similar in my opinion. For some selections, you are better off using the pen tool as it will make a sharp, crisp edge.

Don't expect the edge of each tool to be the same as they work in different manners. I would also suggest that, once you have your selection finalized, you apply a mask rather than delete pixels. I don't know your aim, but a mask is non-destructive. If that's not a consideration, then delete away!
 
So I cannot complement my selection with all the selection tools without expecting a change when I press clear?
If that's a yes I'll be a little disappointed with photoshop
 
Nice, I missed that, just how do I know how much feather the Quick Selection Tool has? Can't seem to find it, I want to see so I can match both tools!
 
i normally use pen tool do do all of my selection and some times color range, this gives me precise edges everytime and if i want to expand, contract or feather the selection i can do it later on.

You can change the tolerance or feather amount for the tool which gives you unexpected edges. and then feather the whole selection to get an even edge. hope this helps.
