This may be gross, but once I neded a scab for an image, and I slaved and slaved over it, and finally threw my hands up in defeat. I leaned back in my chair, put my feet up, and noticed an nice big scab on my shin. *here's the gross part* ;-)

I picked the scab, scanned it, applied it to my pic, and it came out perfect. It was worth a little pain, I took one for the team!

Might as well reveal the whole thing.. its got MUCH more work to go. Im dissapointed because the bumpy scabe looks better than the blood, and I cant get the blood the same colour [stuned] Tioem I've done that before [honesty] !!!

Alistair, your imagination and work I like! Let me put it to you this way... ;\ I'm just not personally fond of pictures with blood and such. [saywhat] The sight of blood kinda turns my innards to jelly and makes me queasy.

I know theres to much pattern on here face right now, but I'll change that. Any suggestions on making the pattern look "really" part of her face? Maybe... erik, you know anything about this? (you gotta have experiece seeing that avatar you used to have up long time ago_. clean-up done:

To make the pattern look like part of her face, I would suggest using a displacement map on it and then I would play with various blend modes.
