I would like to know if theres a good way to make rashed or scars.. what i actually am looking for is how to make a scar on a face that is kind of red and bulges out. I dont want to give the poece im working on away, so I'll just show you the colour skin im working with. Later I might turn the whole face green or blue though, so it still has to have a redis tint though. The areas i circled are where I will have the rashes on the face. I mean... Scabs!!! :D :\ [stuned] So, imagein somethingin those scabs.... so the scabs need to pop out a bit so domething sticks out of them. Is there a tutorial? Has anyone heard of such a thing???

ahh, my favorite search engine!!! (actually its the only one I use). Cool, but, ah, ok I guess I'll give it a try. :\ [stuned]

only one you use?
........you sure?????

It makes me giggle sometimes,ppl wanna know the answer to something and all they have to do is type a couple of words in a search engine to find their answer but they never do it! :D :P

Don't forget Google Groups

Here's a quote from what I wrote a few months earlier;

"Some info for those who never heard of Google Groups

Google Groups is a great place to find solutions for problems like these. Just type in a silly error text or code and let Google do the job by searching in millions of newsgroup articles. It's a great addition to the normal search engines. Even silly questions like "Why is my dog staring at the ceiling" are being answered (I know, I have a dog like that )

Google's newsgroup archive is the largest in the world and contains more than 20 (!) years of newsgroup articles"

Don't underestimate Google Groups. Many time you find your answer here 10 times faster. Even today I found the right freeware tool that I couldn't find using the regular search engine.

Yes, this is the Google Man speaking :D

my only problem with Google at the moment is that if I do a search with it ...... find what I want...... click on the link...... I get a can not find url

I go back and click on another link...... same thing [upset]

go back click another..... same again [slick]

close the screen and open IE again and what?........ although the address is my home address up pops Google!...... close that and open IE again...... there is Google again with my home address up top [confused] I close again and open again man there it is again..... try a favorites...... google can not find url 8[

the only way that I can get rid of google from here is to shut down and restart my computer! this has been happening for 2 weeks now...... since I had XP put on :{
guess I can't use Google until I find a way to fix this problem :b shame because I always do my searches on Google [shhh]

your right in that it doesn't look like blood....... I don't know but I wouldn't have thought blood would run straight down....... I imagine that it would have like water drips? try putting some highlights on the blood too so that it doesn't look so flat?
just some thoughts [oops]

Thanks for agreeing with me!!! [upset] [doh] Yea, I know.. well I tryed combining my own trix to a tutorial, and thats how it came ou. [oops] [stuned] is there a effect you know of sue?

ha ha ha sorry to agree with you he he he yours reminded me of Alice Cooper he he he

you know Marks tute on the glas pills...... with the highlighting effects on there....... well that is what I would do to the blood......... or that raindrops tute..... I can't remember where that one is but that would make it look more 3Dish and wet looking and I would add "blobs" to the blood....... not that I have seen much blood but that is what I think I would see he he he

You know a long time ago I cut myself just to look at the diffrence between blood and water. Blood is much more thicker... and redder [confused] :D :bustagut: redder... hey I just made a new word! :D Water is a bit ... thin, isn't it?

Alistair - http://www.screaming-art.com/t_blood.php just for your reference 'cause you seem to be into this sort of thing. ;)

As far as the blood that you have created, try giving it a slight "bevel & emboss" with highlighting set to 100%, using layer styles. Just a suggestion/thought... :\

Yeppers Alistair! :righton: Looks better don't you think? ;)

Yes, I agree i have made improvments, but its not looking its best. Im ganna mess a bit with spherize a bit later and see if I can make the blood go over the cheek more (actually look like its going over), instead of being flat ;)
