Not to sound as a spoiler here but would it not been faster and this project done over with had you tried to re-created the two buttons?

You may be able to overcome the edge problem on this button but your next hurdle will be to figure out how to do the same on the letter buttons.

The way I see it... if you manage to re-create even the other part of the button, this can be used for your letters.... not to mention your edges will be as sharp as you can create it.

Just my two cents.....

i did have a crack at creating a button but it wasnt what i wanted in the end , and the one im using i really like

not my strong point i guess , and i also wanted to see if there was a way to get this problem solved

looks like i cant fix this , im surprised actually that there isnt more info on this

next question what would be the best way to re create this with a better edge?
