Reproducing a beatiful slide

I suspect the question mark is combined with a drawn pipe shape. IDK what the font is, but there are plenty of font websites where you can search sans-serif type. I have only made water droplets once. So I found some tutorials, most of them similar but slightly different. You may need to make some custom changes, like the white streaks which might be made with a brush and a gradient overlay.

Here is my version of the question mark. It's slightly different than the original but it's close.

Here is a PDF Tutorial of how I created it. View attachment 23885 I did forget a step, when you move the water drop into the main project document, you will have to re-size using Command + T and then move it into position.

I wonder why letters in orginal slide are so thick (eventhough size is the same). It's like you type st in word -> use BOLD -> it becomes thicker. Why doesn't PS have a feature like that?

Basically, I think I will just draw lines, color it then use gradient (inner shadow for the edge, maybe). Is it a right way to do?


I don't know how to create the calendar, I'm pretty sure it isn't just an image on the internet cause the color is the same.



Clueless. I think the picture is shooted, not created entirely by PS. Any idea?


I just want to know how to create the pie chart. 3d? Seem to be out of my league

As for this image, you can type a "?" and use the font that you wish and suits your needs.

If you do not get the rectangular base, then just create with the tools provided, then you can rasterize the text later and then merge it with the rectangular box layer.

Secondly, use the 'Blending Options' of the "?" layer and set the Bevel n Emboss to the desired level. This would give you the 3D kinda shadows at the top and bottom.

Add the Gradient Overlay of the desired colors and Voila !!! this is accomplished.

Most of the times, the Images like these are clicked keping in mind the purpose. For example, the photographer might have had the idea of making a poster of some kind which taking this images - he left a space on the left side to add text later on (following the rule of thirds in photography)
