Realistic Glass/Plastic Business Card??

Yep... you were right... it is as clear as mud in a black box to me! [confused] Do you mean wide as in across to length of the card or that i need to have the reflection drop off more at the sides? Or too tall? so it should maybe only come down half its current size and with a sharper fadeout?..... [confused] [confused] hehe.. I think i just made this forum a little more confusing. OK ill try all i just said in the mean time.

The comment earlier about dpi. i only had it at 200dpi thanks for pointing that out as would of been a pain later. I was able to start again in a 600dpi image which is what the printer recommended. Now the little scan line effect is all buggered thou. but not to worry. getting there. [:I

Why not a REAL plastic business card?

I guess it would depend on whether you are printing it yourself at home, or commercially...
I have a carpentry contractor's card in my Rolodex that was done on clear red plastic, with his info in gold, and have kept it over 10 years just because it was SO cool looking!

Gotta admit, though, now I'm wanting to try 'pseudo-plastic' business card design...interesting challenge.

Good luck on achieving the effect!

Plastic business cards are now a days happening thing. As it can't be torn by even effort also. So its much durable. And its looks much shiny then the paper business card. But I must tell you its not environment friendly.

Wow! These are great tips. I'm also a newbie here and I'm loving how warm you guys are welcoming us in your forums. I'll make sure to post a question here when I need help. This surely is the most welcoming bunch I've encountered. :)
