RE: the mercator....

Its not the transparency, i dont think ps 7 autolocks, I checked none the less and checked with lock on too hehe.

I have 3 teachers at uni trying to figure it out too, including my digital imaging teacher who has 30 years in the industry and a vet of ps, since its birth lol. He too is stumped. Going to talk to co ordinator who is good at cross platform stuff, but if it works on ur pc, there must be something i am blind too.

Ur in usa right? Monitors are made to international standards ya? unlike tv (ntsc/pal)?

I installed my monitor driver to no avail as well, infact it banded my colour lol, so no luck there either.

This is a wierdo indeed! 8[

I downloaded and ran the action.

There was only a slight jagginess in the edges nearest the circumference. The rest was well smoothed.

Monitor: 19", 1600 x 1200, Millions of colours. On a Mac.

Stumped! [confused]

Could this be an Operating System boogie, Mark? Windows XP??

Al.

I use windows xp with an LCD monitor and get this same problem for some reason...could it possibly be bad video card drivers???

You get the jagged lines near the center too Tranq?

I'd guess it's vCard drivers... i think i mentioned that right off. If you have the newest ones, try rolling back to the previous working version.

I'm on XP too, with an nVidia Ti4200/128 and don't have this problem. I run @ 1280 & 32bit.
