[Quick Request] Can someone just blur the background of these photos a little

All the time you have spent on this thread you could have made your own by now Z.
I thought this was now a, 'we will help you via explanation site', not a free image manipulation site?
 
Not really sure there is anything to explain on this 1 filter > blur > motion blur on a duplicate layer mask out where you dont want it.

This may seem simple enough but actually I can understand why she wanted other peoples take on it and that is what I am going to tell myself what happened lol. Because Blur of any kind to a photo that is not actually got the blur in it is very hard to look natural and I have never seen 1 edit someone has done in PP where it has looked natural.

Only depth of field can really be achieved with some sort of confidence you may trick someone in believing it was done in camera.

On the other hand I had only jumped in here to wind Carson up and never actually read the request properly and Paul does raise a valid point in that you say you dont have the time but what else could you be doing at 1am when school is finished etc you could have probably done it and at least posted a version to see if anyone could offer you advise on improving it.


But like any member Reuests, inspiration and creative edits etc are allowed to be made it is down to each member if they would like to participate in that request the only 1s we will monitor closely are 1s that may cause embarrassment to people if the OP is not actually the person they are asking the request picture to be edited or if we are in doubt the person in the pic has given permission to edit.

Anything themed unsuitable for the forum

Or the rather stupid requests.


All though I am sure this is Paul having a Joke (I like to think I am starting to understand him more and more now lol. no offence intended) It is preferred to advise and guide you in the future but hey ho we are all friends here trust me I have been sending work to Clare and Lizard the other day to get them to play with some edits for me I believe we spent a good 2 hours doing it as well. ( job still not complete lol) So yeah I agree some kind of effort should have been made on your behalf Zee but then I also see it from the otherside of wanting to see other peoples edits.

Three layers one with the recolour added and grain effect, middle layer de saturated and grain added, bottom layer blurred slightly.
All three with varying opacity levels set.

Trust me, i would have if i wasn't on my phone, i was forbidden from Using photoshop all day because i had friends and family over for my 16th ;)
 
give it 3 more years and you will regret saying that.

You can blame your teenager Hormones on a lot of things but when you get older that will no longer be an excuse
 
damn, you have a point, mind you, i am calming down quite a bit these days, most of the problems you had with me before April was school stress and whatnot, all that's gone now so there should be no grumpy me without a forewarning in a PM first! :D
