Seems very basic. the guy that does Cd artwork for me can be seen at Kyroink.net
but keep working at it you will get better. practice makes perfect.

just things dont blend properly (color wise)
you need to look at how colors work together

Just think about layers and blending modes mate, then think about the colours and quality of the starting images, without good quality your always going to end up with poor or sub standard end results.
Good starting point though, regardless of what the above just coughed.
