well, if I had to give a description of what my work is, I'd be hard pressed to do that. For one, most of what I do is more surreal. definately illustrated. I over-use transluscent glows, shadows and highlights. But the subject matter allows this overuse. Most everything I do has a 'plastic' / 'plasmic' feel to it. If you 'really' study my stuff, you'll find that most of the 'detail' is in the subtle lighting features. I love to use light patterns within light patterns. I abuse the use of textures. Although they may 'look' realistic, they're really far from it.
Look at what's going on here. alot of overlaying of textures in areas so small, you wouldn't think it would make any difference. But to me, it does. They account for a 'subliminal' quality. But real......no
