Pen Tool problems.

Hello,as the title says I've been experiencing weird problems with the pen tool in Photoshop CS6.When I draw a path and click the Make Selection, Fill Path and Stroke Path options nothing happens( the options aren't grayed out when I try to click on them).I've tried resetting Photoshop but that doesn't seem to fix anything.

Does anyone have a possible solution to this issue ?

What happens if you right click and choose one of the options from the menu?

I am sure you are doing something wrong. I cannot even reproduce all the things that didn't work in the begginings of my experience in Photoshop.

That's the thing when I click on them nothing happens,but now when I select them from the paths tab they work,it's just when I right click on the path itself and then choose one of these options nothing happens.

Yeah costisefu,that is probably true I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I double checked to see if I left the layer locked by mistake,but that doesn't seem to be the issue.It worked just fine the last time I used Photoshop which was like a week ago and I don't remember making any changes that could have caused this.
