No photoshop file icons.

Hi, have just saved 2 files each over a Gig, saved in PSB 'Large Format', (I have large format printers) and no icon at all... not even the blank photoshop proprietary one.

never had this before. I did upgrade to the latest version of photoshop. 25.11.0 the day before.... that would always just give me the proprietary PS icon on files over a gig.

never had this problem before.

Any Fix.?

Are you using a Widows machine or a mac?
What color profile were these files saved in? If CMYK, it will show as a blank. Convert to RGB and the icon should come back.

Also make sure to have the "Always" setting in file handling in prefs.

Hi, sory. M1 iMac. and photoshop native PSB (Large File Format) 8 bit.

No......that's file format! I'm asking about what color mode/profile are the files saved in?

just looked at the folder again, and for some reason the proprietary photoshop icons magically appeared on the files. no clue why, but atleast I now can see something to click on.

Which version of Mac OS are you using? It was reported that Monterey had just such an issue at some point:

Hi, using Ventura.. though it seems that the problem has fixed itself. turned the computer on this morning, and voila they proprietary icons showed up...
