New tutorial from Stroker

We all know where our weak point lie, unless, of course, we have been hiding our heads in the sands of act-as-if. Know thyself, is still very valuable.
Which is why we, as full-grown humans, know when we do are bad students. A lack of knowledge is not to be something to be afraid of, chester. Everyone has her or his limits. And if the more mathematical approach of digital material is not your preferred way, then ok. Many people love fractals, but start to yell when it comes out that Julia and Mandelbrot are names of mathematicians. No problem there. You can make good work in photoshop without knowing how most things work.

As for admitting to be wrong or not: this offers everyone, not only teachers, the opportunity to be confronted with how much of the Ego-beast is involved in "sharing". Unless you prove that Stroker is wrong in his tutorial, which is what it is all about, and which you can't because you lack the knowledge, there is no way he can admit to be wrong or not.

By the way: did you already apologise for calling cz a thief, here, publicly on this board? http://www.photoshopgurus.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3906&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

it's not up to the student to decide if he/she is a bad student

...exactly! If we didn't know this intrinsically, why would we be driven to try harder, longer, etc. And conversely (it goes hand in hand) we also wouldn't know when we were good students - but I have observed plenty of these lately!
It would be a strange state of existence to be plodding along directionless neither learning nor perfecting. Although, in Chesters scenario, we would be poked with prods every now and then and told where to go, what to learn etc... thank goodness for the teachers (but who taught them?) [confused]

i mean, why did any of us pick up photoshop then?
