Cindy, I'm wondering if it's the face that I can't quite reconcile. It's very sharp compared to the rest of the bust. The eyelashes really jumped out at me when I first saw it. But I agree with you. Often it is best to come back at a later, rested time and see it more objectively. I am a writer (not of books) and I know how ruthless I must be with my editing sometimes. I have to cut phrases that appeal to my ego in order to create a more clear and concise message.
