Looking to make this a bit more... Believable :)

i can get him black, but not without loosing all the detail, im toying witht he idea of buying like a $1 stock photo of a black wolf to make this go smoother

you should work with the image you've got... can you post us it?

My opinion guys: the foliage strikes me as really lackluster and out of character with the supernatural surroundings. It just looks dull and flat and I think that could be pulled out, more sat to the color more contrast/sharpness. Even some eerie light. Just cause it's night, it doesn't have to fade to flat. A full moon, for example, would catch highlights on the ground and those are missing.

Maybe even add another of some other foliage to throw off the kind of "normal" look to the ground cover or add some filters or adjuxtments. Just my thinking. I'll give it a shot and see if I can back up my critique with something constructive, ok.

Here's kinda what I mean. Duplicated foliage layer. Removed fx. Added spherical filter. Added lens flare inside upper "hill." Changed blend mode to difference. Then adjusted lower foliage layer by erasing it to bring it in line with spherical layer and to add highlights to the plants and such and decreased opacity about half. Added contrast and small amnt of brightness to the upper foliage layer, then sharpened it up.

the different wolf pic is pretty nice belial :) like it :D

Ah, that's nice Belial. The wolf has a lot more presence and the ground has highlights which I see as really important to the overall image. The dull green just kills it for me. I'm talking about the first one, not the silhouette. You're good :mrgreen:

I've tried something quick as well

Wolf Project2.jpg

the wolf image it's too jaggy tried to fix the borders but still some bad edges, anyway

- Some elements on the cosmic background doesn't help at all to your main characters, as you can see i got rid of some elements in the cosmic pic like those meteorites, "rocks" or something floating around, also erased the other glowing element on the left side, because, don't get me wrong but i don't really think that makes sense, having to much elements in only one area, plus it makes it look too saturated and chaotic, also applied only one color "theme" to the pic which is dark blue just matter of taste i guess,

- also got rid of some elements in the grassy background such as rocks, some grass, and some other stuff, the reason for this i was to clean up the background and not to drag the attention from the wolf to the background unless that showing the background was the main reason of your work "which i doubt".

Just my thoughts dough.

@Belial the last post at page 5
@Sir maximus nice :)

Anyone else notice a leg missing from hopalong?lol

yeah I agree if the image is about a wolf then yes Belials approach is better and it breaks up the scene more

haha idad, you're totally right, maybe it will be named 'handicaped wolf project' a result of the toxic atmosphere?
