Looking for a way to create similar wallpapers

Hey, some friend asked me to create two wallpapers similar to these two:


Is there any tutorial or something like that i can use? i got basic+ knowledge of photoshop,
just not enough to create stuff like that from scratch using illustrator etc.

I believe you can scan and convert to curves as a starting point.

yeah but another question in the same issue,
she wants it to be 140cm X 70cm (rectangle shape)
if i started a 140cm height, 70cm width, 240dpi document,
How can i see it in like real size? i never created documents this big.. when i'm starting this document i'm on like 4% on the navigator and i can't see how it will look real size...
