Try downloading Gimp, My Photoshop Is down right now. OK!
I am using Gimp as a replacement.
My PS disk i bought had a scratch on it and it never worked when i tried to save.
So I have no choice but to use gimp Until I can buy another copy. (I am broke.)

Gimp is a 'free' program that you can download.
And use to edit photos in a similar way to Photoshop.
It is the same basic set-up.
You should adjust very quickly.
Good luck. :D

I need suggestions for this logo I came up with ... Also, I want to add a speeding 'H' effect just for that letter to make it a bit more attractive how to do it?

Steps. . .
1.)Make a new text layer.
2.)Type the letter you want with the same font and remove the letter on the other layer.
3.)Then align the layer with the other one till you see it match the logo you made already.
4.)Then apply the affect, on the layer with the letter "H".

Rasterise your text layer use the square marquee tool and copy the H onto its own layer then go to filter > blur > motion Blur

What about the possibility of using Wind in the Stylize filter? That could also give it a good "speeding" effect.

I wouldnt reccomend that as that still leaves sharp detail in the motion but if you want the motion you want the blur.

I tried it with the blur and it for some reason didn't look right. Here is what I did.

1. Used Square Marquee tool to select the H and copied to its own layer.
2. Went to Filters and then to Stylize.
3. Clicked on Wind and chose to blow from the left.
4. I repeated step 3 two more times and got this in the end.
