Literally - when your mail came in I was thinking I wonder if she has seen the previous posts - didn't know as I am brand new here - and I like it! The font - looks like: Accents Euro Linux Libertine by Philipp H. Poll - is a very good match. No text above ball but can we put 2013 inside the ball? No flags (keeping colors down), 3 lines under logo; (1) Saturday, May 11, 2013, (2) Quail Creek CC, (3) San Marcos, Texas.

I just was your comment about $ - this is my first one. I'd be happy to show you budgets when I'm done.

Uhm, I didn't say anything about money, except that the more colors, the more the printing will cost.

I just saw your recent posts. I did a little bit more, so here's the stage I'm at. I'll be back in a bit. Meantime, the font you want... is that for the word "golf?"

Oops - sorry. The font was for the words 2013 Texas Wounded Warrior inside the golf ball.

No problem; I haven't applied it yet.

OKaaaay. Lots of variations on this font. Which do you want? Italic, normal weight, or bold specifically?

I downloaded RZ.ttf which is a medium bold, non-italic.

I'm thinking Bold (2013 TEXAS Wounded Warrior) in the hopes that we can remove the outline around the golf ball. Removing that outline may make the golf ball blend too much with a white shirt - can we darken the golf ball a bit, especially the perimeter? If we can, I'm thinking the Bold will do better. Any chance on bringing the heads and handles of the golf clubs closer together? In my original attachment, please look at the ribbon, where it reads TOURNAMENT, can we come closer to replicating mine? Curved turns instead of sharp-angled? Sure hope that made sense!

Here you go. I hope this is more like it. I don't think we're gonna match you online logo stroke for stroke! But I'll bet nobody even sneezes.

Well anyway, I think the shape is enough to call it to mind and most people wouldn't know the difference unless they're viewing them side by side.

That said, I hope you like this. Let me know if there are some tweaks. (or if you hate it!) By the way, I made the tee shorter. It looked like a long-necked goose! I have a high res png or the psd.

Hate it? Surely you jest - I'm lovin it! I wonder a couple of things; those golf clubs- do you think that "x" they form is a little flat? Hope that makes sense. At first I wondered if the text in the golf ball was too big - the more I look the more I like. The word Tournament - you like that or do you think it too ornate? 1st line of text - Saturday, May 11, 2013. I'm hoping the high-res png will work. Our plan right now is to have one logo on the back of the shirt ~ 8-1/2 x 11 and maybe just the text over the chest - haven't decided yet. I love the logo thus far - promise! Late nite giggle for goose-neck :-)

Another oops on the date. Yeah, I'm getting tired, long day. I'll take a look at it tomorrow. The clubs are no problem; yes I understand. I'll see what I can do about the golf ball. Looking at your original, I see what you're going for. I may need to get rid of the drop shadows overall. I could also make one version with the text on the ball a bit smaller and see how you like it. Initially I was going to do that, but it all fit so I left it. I like Hoogle's font choice for "tournament" but what matters is if you like it. Again, the easiest is for you to pick a font if you think something different will work. What's nice about the script is that it's a counterpoint to the serif text. But a less ornate script might be preferable? Or anything else that works for you.

Tomorrow, tomorrow, etc. etc.

Tomorrow, tomorrow is good - I will not submit until Monday. Not whatever "I" like, whatever "we" (you and me now) like. Late for me too, allow me to add - nighty-night and thank you, thank you!!!!!

LOL; I'm not so lucky that I was too tired yesterday to notice the smart object! Noob needs new glasses. Hey, isn't there a recent thread . . . ?

Anyway, I have a new version made moving the "smart-azz" pieces around and making a few other adjustments. Hope you like it.

I got some spare time this evening...

I will see what I can do in Illustrator. That way you can have the .ESP and .PDF

Hi Clare - sorry I have been away for awhile. Looking so nice - is it possile to spread the golf clubs apart a little bit to get the handles out of the word Golf? Also I noticed the clubs have changed from Drivers to Irons - can we get the Drivers back in? I went to the course today to show what you have done so far - everyone loves it!

This is getting to funny

I can do change to drivers. As for the clubs? If I get them away from the word golf, they will be too flat as you remarked earlier. Are there any other changes you would like? This is revision 4?

I don't feel like a revision 5 is in order. Whatever you send me next is it. I can't thank you enough for your help - I know it was alot. Please, please, get in touch with me outside of this forum - I know you can find me.

DRB, Here are a variety of choices. I like the GOLF text in a different shade of an existing color. If you would like something a bit different that is an easy fix. Let me know what you like. I did make the text on the gold ball smaller as you may have noticed in my last post. I think it works better.

Thanks to Hoogle for doing the initial intricate design. It is quite lovely and made my work easy, relatively lol!
