This may be very simple but im trying to print a picture so i can get it made into a Canvas. When i upload my image to the site so it can fit into the 120x90cm Canvas the image is not all in there i need to cut bits out. I was wondering if someone can help me resize the image but keep it as big as possible so that when they print it - its not pixelated. Hope that makes sense.

The Canvas board that im trying to fit it into is 120 by 90 cm.

Thanks Original.jpg

This is your image in a 120cm x 90cm canvas

This is what your image will look like resized to fit the 120cm x 90cm canvas. I this what you want?

You can also have the option of moving the image further to the right or the left.

Ya i think the problem is i would like the whole thing to fit in a 120 x 90cm board, or the main bits with the 3 kids, the tree and the castle etc but i assume it might be very hard to do ? I would like to get it as close as possible to the original photo. But might have to do some ai rendering ? not sure

OK, so you want the original on the canvas and then extend the top and bottom?
Yes that would be amazing, and if possible to get it ready for Print - i would need it to be 300 dpi as they said its the best format for it to be in.

Hi @Ally2021
I did a version at 150 dpi and here, and the one I am posting here is 5000 wide, which is the maximum width that can be viewed on this site.
Note that the full 150 dpi version at high JPEG quality is 30 MB in size, and if done at 300 ppi, it is likely to be over 100 MB and pixel dimensions over ~14,000
I suggest you double-check that they can print the exact size you want 120cm x 90cm and the maximum file size they can take so forum members will be able to hit the mark without rework if there is a limit on the best canvas site (is that the one in Canda?). Just double checking before providing that large a file supplied via Dropbox if you are interested in my posted image at a larger scale.

That's actually amazing. Ya the max file size is 60MB. So i tried my self to do one with Ai and basically got the same result as you but i just expanded the up part and down part and it came out pretty nice like urs. :)

It appears you then have choices. I have attached the 120cm x 90cm version at 150 dpi and a max JEPG quality level of around 30 MB if needed.
I hope your son enjoys whatever you end up printing.

You are welcome, @Ally2021. It is great to hear about the results. I am sure your son appreciated all the work you put into such a nice gift and surprise. Lots of forum members will be around for future help when needed.
