as far as a background image goes for a wallpaper then I would choose clares as you could easily see icons and shortcuts on there and I like the patriotic side to it I like your design

What about the flames? They don't seem quite in character with the rest of teh image. I want to try to get flames like Hoogleman and Belial make.

they are just pictures of flames blended in using layer masks then adjust the hue saturation to a blue and then in belials case probably used the layer mask to paint in some of the flames over the logo with a low opacity brush all be it The last image I posted was actualy painted in

Just play around with layers as you are, blur edges to flames change colours to fit requirements, go on you can do it.

oops we have all failed and not gone by what was requested I didnt do flames underneath just on top but I will change it if need be remember though people this was a request and was quite specific as well and none of us have actually done what was asked so I will say this if you require mine to have extra flames on it I will do it for you but do consider some of the other designs I love the idea of IBClares and I like Belials which you could quite easily put in as a center image and still have a plain background. even though it is a bit funkier than requested it can still work

Layers - multiple layers of flames at differing levels of light and slight colour depth changes, i also stretched the flames out wider over eachother then blur blended and did a couple of zoom blurs also if i remember rightly lol.
