So I searched for a while and couldn't find anything in the rules about asking for an image..just a preface i have no experience or money so outside of someone doing this for me (for free, unless i can help you in some other way) i dont really have any means to make this image..I'm looking to get a background for my computer and for my phone...It's the IAFF(international association of firefighters) logo(there's plenty of images on the web) that's kind of like metallic looking (also just have the like outline of it, not solid) on a black background or a greyish background kind of like: wallbase.cc/wallpaper/255...I'd also like to have some blue flames rising up off of it, and below it either have kind of a reflection of it......sorry if this sounds like a lot but i'd be really appreciative if anybody could help me out whether its making it or sending me to someone who can/will!!

You're best bet is to post images similar to what you want including the logo you mentioned.
You're asking for something for free, and that's OK, but you're asking our members to do all the hunting for samples too.

You know what you want we don't.
You can't post links but you can post images.

maybe lower the opacity on the reflection a bit its good not much different to mine i just put some flames in

Yep, I did that. Just downloaded some flame brushes. But I still don't think they're as cool as your. I'm just going to edit the post above and put the new image there. Do you think layer effects on the flames might improve them?

Dang, just noticed that the black pixels on the logo itself are now showing. Back to work. I should have chosen a logo with the metallic finish like you used.

here is what i used just duplicated it several times transformed and warped it and layered masked some of it oh and image> adjustment > hue saturation to make them blue
flames.jpg

remember things are not always what they seem with a bit of imagination everything is possible lol

LOL. Nice flames. For once, I thought I'd try some new brushes. Usually I would do something similar to that, downloading a photo. But it's fun to have new brushes.

Firefighter34, if you want to take both of these into consideration and you would like me to get rid of the greyish glow around the logo, I can do it. It was just part of the original logo and I left it. Cheers, IB

nice. I think our fireman will be pleased.

Just one thing: I'd like to see the water on top of a portion of the flames. Oh yeah, and why doesn't the water reflect? Ghost water? ROFL

damn you IBCLARE I was going to do that exact style of image but was unaware of political views etc so decided to stay away from it in the event of offending people in our country we have to be careful about flying our flag and did not want to demonstrate a flag being on fire you get arrested for that here
