Hi guys!
One question for you.. Can you please help me with this file, I need your suggestions. How you do an image contour of the wheels in this image?

Thank you so much for you replies!

Hi ibcalre and thank you for your reply.
I mean make transparent the car cutting off the rest of the background.. I have some troubles with the car wheels.

You want to select wheels in order to get rid of the background ? I would try to use Colour range combined with Refine edge, it should do the majority, rest is manual work with high magnification.

how i would do it is get the part you want to keep and the part you want to erase as opposite as you can before you select it
so i mean dark and light.
in this case (image) i would
1. invert the image "Image/Adjustments/Invert" (separate layer)
2.De-saturate the image "Image/Adjustments/Desaturate"
3. then use the burn tool to darken the area you want to remove

there is still some manual selecting after that but not as much

It works nice on the right wheel for me but not that much on the left one.

yeah for me i dont just do 1 thing to select on each image and each image is different.
sometimes you just have to do it the tedious way and select it manually.
im no expert so my way could be the hard way but it works for me

Yes, it is a very nice method to know, it works on one wheel perfectly, I even think I understand when to use it. So thank you for showing it.
