Hey gang...

I'm a noob to the forums (been lurking for a while [shhh] ) and I'm hoping someone can help me with a basic stupid question. Whenever I open a new image, I get the little slice dealie up in the upper left portion of my new pic. I don't want it there when I open a new pic. I know all I have to do is hit ctrl H to get rid of it (or View>Extra), but I don't want it there on start up !! How can I change this ??

View>Show>Slices.
Uncheck this.

We have a very good Search engine, and this question has been asked several times.
