Help recreating image please

My last example I changed the canvas size to 10000, as I said. The results are the same. Try it for yourself on any canvas size you like, use two methods to create identical objects then compare. If there are vectors in PS then the shape layer will look better, but it won't.

You changed it from a lower resolution to a much higher one? If you did you would get these results.

The circle on the left is a vector layer (shape) and the right is a bitmap layer

Upsized to 10000 pixels zoomed to 400%. It has jagged edges, vectors don't.

RTContent, in a technical sense you are correct. Perhaps I should use the term true vector.
Photoshop uses what you could call a vector container, but the contents are always raster. Whereas in programs like Illustrator, both the container and the contents are vector. When you scale a PS shape, even though the outside scaling is calculated mathmatically, you will see jagged edges because the content contained within is raster.
Upscaling the canvas with a shape object will give you better results because of this, but it is not a true vector object.

Haha, yeah we have been going around in circles then. I explained that already here.

But like I said you can use Photoshop to create vectors, saying things to the contrary is simply incorrect.

hawkeye it was a pleasure debating you anyway :)
