Hello
To professionals in photoshop
I've got a picture of my father before he died 35 years ago and does not have another image
Do any of you can help me in the repair of the image to go back to its original condition
My friend told me that you are so you can, I can not use Photoshop
I am confident in the creativity of members of this forum.

Hi alaamrey,
The photo has a multitude of issues to be dealt with, but it can be restored. Maybe not to original as there are some parts missing that will have to be rebuilt so to speak. This photo will be a good exercise for our members interested in restorations, me for one. So just be patient and let the members run with it.

Oh yeah...............I like this challenge!

I tend to be a bit slower than some of the rest so it may take me awhile. Patience.

I'm not going to make any color or texture changes.

To me it looks more natural this way. Anyone else can feel free to make any adjustments they like to it.

edit: I updated this image as well.

@ALB68 I saw some flaws and symmetry in my version after you ran the filter that I did not like so I made some tweaks.
Could you run your filter on the tweaked version as well?

Edit: Added the two below. The last one was straight into the filter and out. No other manipulations. ALB68

Yes. It works like a charm on those textures. I edited your above post to add the filtered image. I brightened it up some and added just a little bit of noise to give a little texture to the skin color.

Edit: Let me check on something. I think the one I have is a later version updated for PS 2014. Your still running CS6 though so may be OK.

Yes, it is see this link http://www.neatimage.com/mac/index.html
