Help for my Banner

Hello lads,
I need banner for my website which is for kids, but i cant actually do it like these guys here
and have to be in another three different colours green,red and yellow , the thing is i did have lots of goes but it actually didnt work i cant do the light behind the cool summer cart sign, the name is bubolan.com, if u can make sort of that i will be really happy and ol, the size should be big, about 958/380 pixels/inch...because i am using it like a slide show in my first page...you can see it in www.bubolan.com, i know its simple for u guys thats why i am asking for help, im not good in photoshop and any of these, if you can help, i will be more than happy!!!

Here you go as you know how to do the text here is a background for you I just used a light beam brush then a circle shape tool filled with yellow and an orange stroke.

@ herpderp Just a bit of advice if you are going to troll at least have some skill in photoshop maybe try using a layer mask.

We will be happy to teach you the basics just ask and I am sure somebody will be able to teach some basics.

I need some help regarding the light beam brush... is this something you made earlier or something that came along with photoshop.. I am using CS3 and not very informative when it comes to custom brushes...

You can load custom shape brushes into photoshop. Explore them they get really creative.

and in case you didnt know this is how you install brushes but there are easier ways but cant see a video
