Getting the Fractalius Plugin to Work Again

I need to install and use the old Photoshop filter, Fractalius, which I originally used with Photoshop CS5. Unfortunately, the company behind it, Redfield Plugins, appears to be defunct, and the plugin no longer works with the current version of Photoshop.
Does anyone have expertise with troubleshooting or adapting old plugins for modern systems? Any tips, advice, or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Fractalius 2 still worked in PS2022 (I haven’t used Photoshop since then) - which version did you use?
