Face morphing - mixing skin colours

I was mistaken on the image you commented on.
Top row middle, is a complete face transplant, bottom row middle I just added the beard.
The jaw is slightly different because of part of the process.
I adjusted the jaw but made no attempt to get it 100% lined up with the original.

This is the middle image, 2nd row.

Yes there is a way to make that photo a bit more similar to the other guy without making it look too unrealistic.

You asked for "help" for your statistical project, that's what I'm trying to do.
I'm trying to help "you" do your project.

If you want to post what you've done so far or have any photoshop questions I can help you with I would be more than happy to help you. :)

i guess its just a bit too much for me :\
could you send the last pic's PSD file? ill try to mimc the actions youve had with seeing the details up close

OK, here's the PSD.
There are 2 folders along with the separate layers.

I put this together this way to give you a step by step process to the color adjustment.
I did it with adjustment layers only so you can see the settings of the adjustments.

Folder No CC needed no color adjustment because I took the entire face of the one guy and put it on the other guy with the beard.
You can turn layers on and off to see. That's the one I posted before.
It's here just for reference.

In Layer Color CC, I did the whole edit over again.
You can see what was masked and you can see the tools and settings for the color adjustments.
Turn the layers on and off to see what they do.

Now I needed to combine all the layers in the Color Adj folder to a new layer with "Stamp Visible", I gave you the shortcut for that in another message.
All I did to that layer was to adjust the white balance with Curves and Threshold which is not important right now, I used the Clone tool where marked, and the Blur tool where marked.

For your image use Auto Contrast instead of Curves and Threshold, you should get acceptable results.
