I think this is a wonderful abstract double exposure. Very well done and thought out.

I think you still have some remnants or ghosting that need to be addressed otherwise I think you've done an exceptional job!

One trick I use to find remnants is to invert the final image and lighten it with a curves adjustment layer. This will show them well.
