LOL, then one more option is to make it with using animation. The 1st frame - 0% opacity, the 2nd one - moved aside and upwards with 100% opacity, tween animation, make layers from frames, kill animation, assign darken mode for all layers.

this is easy done in a 3d app even for an amateur.
it can be done in PS but it takes more skills to get the look as good
