CS5 on iMac

First and foremost..........this is NOT the Mac! It's Photoshop.

If you have a FLOATING document window, and a docked Layers panel, it will never slide behind!!!!

If you have both a floating document window and a floating Layers panel, then it will always slide behind!!!!

Thanks. Will be looking at this first thing, in the morning. I never said it was a mac problem. Didn't have this problem on my other iMac. Really, really appreciate your help.

This is a a fairly good video on working with the

Am I mistaken in thinking that a "saved" workspace can be imported back, on a newly installed photoshop? If so, there isn't any point in saving the workspace?
I can't find a way to import back a saved workspace in Photoshop after a new install on a new mac.

Yes, once you have a workspace that your comfortable with, save it! It will always be there.............unless you move the program to a new computer.

Success! In simple terms, to set it so that the image goes underneath the panel or the tools,....Hold the grey bar at the top side towards the centre slightly. Then slide it back. simple! (bit like me)
