I was against XP just because many people said it was an upgrade from ME.

Exactly! And many people thought like you.
You have no clue how times i had to convince people that 2k/xp was not an upgrade of ME.

I refuse to go from 2k to XP, simply because I am so used to 2k. My kids have XPHome on thier machine, it messes up a lot but I like the skins (let me see I was the one who bought the cute little red sports car without paying attention to the inner working with which it broke shortly past warranty!)

So I stick with 2k, it seems to behave itself though not all that perty.
In terms of the OS battle , may as well be a donkey and an elephant!

There are rules on this forum.
One of them is not to become personal.

There is only one way to handle things, and that is neither yours, nor mine, but Mark's. He, and he alone sets the rules.

Being a mod, I see that these rules are applied, and if not, I contact Mark as to which action has to be undertaken.

These rules apply to everyone posting on these boards.
Mark is a broad-thinking, friendly and very tolerant person, and these are the guidelines of the boards also.

If you want to handle it your way, then do so by e-mail, or personal contact. But don't misuse these boards.

Doug, you are a much appreciated member here on the boards, and I understand fully that you defend yourself like you do.
I apprecioate it that you see the difference between how I feel ( my sympathy and understanding for your reaction against Gauss' meanness, and the way I have to follow as a mod (trying to keep people on photoshop and fun).

You have a good heart, and, as they say around here: you stand upright in your shoes!.
