Clearing an old photo


I created new layers for each colour. Picked as near as I could. Painted it in and then set each layer's blend mode to 'Colour'
Finished off by adding adjustment layers for Hue/Saturation on each layer (Place your mouse cursor between the layer and the adjustment layer and then hold your Ctrl button while clicking in the middle - This will make the Adjustment layer only adjust the layer directly below it).
 
Another little trick is to add in a pattern overlay of some type, and then adjust settings just ti give a new dimension to it.

:confused: Sorry but creating a new layer for each color? Don't know how to do that. :cry:
