Kiss, kiss, friends again. I have to say that even for some perfect English speakers, American Humor is not always easy to understand. So much is based on cultural reference.

At this period I am studing English .I have started some lessons with a tutor because I want to use in my job...it is difficult to understand everything ''clear'' . I have some difficulties about lyrics translation , jokes or jobs comutication etc doctors,lawyers ..it is difficult to comunicate in this cases.But in this phorum it is good oportunity to learn some tutorials in photoshop and improve my language skills. :) :) This site is originate from U.S.A.? Thanks about coment for my logo.Are you profesional designer?If you want tell me what it is better to change in this logo?Thank you dutes about your aswers! ;)

Your English is really coming along. Even, I think since your first post, lol. If I had to learn Greek . . . I know a few phrases because I had a Greek brother in law for a couple years, Stamatis -- most ethnocentric Americans called him Steve. Τυπικούς χαιρετισμούς? I can't remember much more, and if it weren't for google translate, I wouldn't be able to write it in Greek -- and can't be sure it's correct either -- and my written approximation of the English pronunciation is probably laughable.

Yes, this site originates in the USA, and we have many native English speakers from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, etc. But as you can see, we are an international forum and have members from around the globe, yourself included. It has to be difficult to get your ideas across so that they can be understood clearly, as you said. It's hard enough sometimes when all parties speak the same language!

Professional designer? I wish. I make some money now and then, on the forum or in my private freelance, but I took a turn away from professional art when I was in my early 20s, much to my regret. But it's never too late IMO. We have amateur designers and photographers, wannabees (like me, lol), professionals, and every color of the spectrum in between. But we have a lot of artists who though they may not be professional, may have a lot of knowledge about art, photography and design, and who use Photoshop and ancillary programs with gusto! You're in the right place to learn and you have great start. Thanks for coming to the forum.

We all need feedback (if we are not too arrogant to ask). We get that here. Continue to post your work. We would love to see it and discuss it. :thumbsup:
 
Τυπικούς χαιρετίσμους is grammatical correct but no one say this phrases.If you want to say hello in a forum from your country you can say Greetings from U.S.A. (Χαιρετίσμους απο Η.Π.Α). but it is great that you say some dificult phrases in Greek! ;) a slang way to say "χαιρετίσμους" in a Greek is to say Γεία χαρά νταν!(Gia hara dan) or another phraseis is Τι χαμπάρια;(Τi Habaria) ...this type of speaking is not offensive and you can say in your friends ;) :) Greek language has not accent as English lanquage ...I think it easier to speak if you live for a period in my coutry but to write it has difficulties .
I think USA english is easier some times to understand from UK english
