Challenge Cupid v2.0 Contest Entries and Announcement of Winners


Hello everyone!

Now its time for me to announce the winners of the Challenge Cupid v2,0.

First I want to tell you that you all have done a fantastic job!!

So this was not easy at all. I have looked at the artwork. And in my analysis I have assumed:


accuracy
creativity and originality
And of course the whole of the image.


The winner of this challenge has created an image as because of the color scheme gives a nice warm feeling. It is beautiful and well-made.

The second winner has made a pretty and funny version of the theme. I like the idea.
The artwork is well made and the message is quite clear.

The third winner have created an image that I think is interesting and also a little different idea. The artwork has a good balance between the color tones which is very nice.

Oh my. Thank you Cindy. I didn't expect to win any place, much less first! Please tell everybody, no nepotism involved in your decision, lol! Just kidding. I am honored.

Thank you also for judging this challenge. I hope you'll come around and see what members are doing in our subsequent challenges. It's fun to watch people grow and improve in Photoshop and artistic expression.

We'll be having another Holiday Challenge in about a month, and it appears I'll be creating it, or finding someone who would like to. PM me if you're interested, people.

Congratulations smoke. I was sure you'd be picked. Very creative and humorous piece.

Congratulations chitkaran. Your rendition is definitely different!

I agree with Cindy about the color and balance, smoke and chit. You can really see that in the thumbnails she posted.

That is pretty darn cool there Ms. Grundsten, the banner and the thumbnails. I shall have to copy that and display it somewhere . . . hmmm, wouldn't it be cool if it said, judged by or chosen by . . . :mrgreen:

Hah Aunty.....

Your too modest. You have created a very nice piece. And looking at your manips now, you have come along way too.

I actually started a piece a few day's back, then went out and bought a Wacom and I got side tracked watching painting tutorials lol.

I will have you next time though hehe.

No no I really hope nobody think so. Because I have only looked at the work.

But it was so difficult. Actually I liked them all in different ways. You know, I am an artist and I love art. I mostly find beauty in every artwork.
Thats why its difficult to only pic three winners.

I will absolutly keep on visit here. I like this site very much. The only thing is the time. Periods I have so much of work so I dont know which leg I shall stand at. And periods I finally have time to create something own.

But I will try to visit here, and also publish some new artwork. Maby more tutorials and things like that.

You are right! Its very fun to see people grow and develop. I love doing that. And I also love to help if I can.

You did a wonderful job Clare. I loved your artwork as soon as I saw it. And I did not even know that it was yours at the first sight.

haha yes Clare, I love to make things a little special. So the banner was for fun, and something extra for the winners :) Glad you like it!

OK, I'm keeping the creation of the next challenge and I already have the idea. I will post it at the end of Challenge 9. I assume that will be by the middle of March. Of course, it will have a springtime theme. Details to come!
