Challenge #20

I now have a new appreciation for some of the art I see on the web.

That is exactly why I did this challenge. Almost everyone who has dabbled with photoshop for over 6 months can merge two images off google, but not many have the vision in their own mind to create an image from scratch. Thank you for trying, and can I just say what a triumph it is. It is only when we try and practise things we do not know, that we learn how to better our skills and trigger a better imagination.

Thanks for the compliment :) I really enjoyed working on this plus it gave me an excuse to use my new graphics tablet properly...

I know its not realistic but it is all hand painted from scratch... My first attempt at an Anime head. Took way longer than I thought it would and who would of believed hair would be sooo difficult! I now have a new appreciation for some of the art I see on the web.

Absolutely Lovely!!

Thanks Clare :)

@Spruce - I was looking at the Bamboo but within the £100 price range I set myself you didn't get a very big working area with the Wacom products. In the end I went for an Aiptek 1400u that has a drawing area slightly larger than A4 and was £90 on Amazon. I was thinking of doing a review for the forum but I'm new here and not sure that people would be interested. What do you think is it worth it?
